Position Overview:

Intel is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Data Engineering Intern within our External Manufacturing Production (EMP) department. This position supports the Global External Manufacturing (GEMS) team. We are in search of a dynamic and driven individual with a strong interest in data and a history of effective analytics and data solution implementation, particularly within the supply chain environment.

 

Your New Role:

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our globally dispersed EMP organizations. Our team adopts SCRUM methodology, providing you with the opportunity to work on diverse projects and enhance your skills across various technical domains. You will be tasked with developing tools ranging from Python packages based on advanced analytics models to SQL stored procedures for data transformation. Your ability to innovate and implement effective data visualizations using Plotly/Dash will be valued.

 

What You Will Do:

- Learn to navigate complex organizational structures.

- Adapt and thrive using SCRUM methodology.

- Develop and implement Python applications or SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Experiment and innovate within new domains.

- Collaborate with seasoned Intel engineers to help achieve key quarterly results.

 

Who You Are:

- A clear and effective communicator with excellent English skills.

- A self-starter who is responsible, reliable, and keen to learn.

- Driven to initiate change and introduce innovative solutions to enhance business processes.

- Prepared to challenge existing paradigms and drive intelligent change with data-focused strategies.

 

Your Educational Background:

- Currently pursuing a university degree in Data Analytics/Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Mathematics.

- Hands-on experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.

- Familiarity with SQL or other database technologies.

 

Additional Skills Appreciated:

- Experience with Plotly/Dash.

- Familiarity with SCRUM or other agile development methodologies.
